Larry's EZ3 with basket and BOB trailer

Larry writes:

I rigged up a basket on the back for doing most errands and it comes off

real quick. It is really just a plastic storage cube (kind of like a

plastic milk crate)I purchased a Lowes. It is held in place with a

couple of pieces of aluminum barstock also purchased at Lowes. the

barstock is attached to the rear of the trike with wing nuts and to the

basket with Ubolts. It will come off the trike in a couple of minutes

with no tools so that I can then use the BOB. Currently, the BOB and the

basket are mutually exclusive, which is no problem for me. The whole

affair is attached to the trike with wing nuts for quick and easy removal.

As far as the BOB is concerned, I use this for reasonably heavy or large stuff which is too much for the basket. Since the BOB typically comes with a quick-release skewer for rear bicycle wheels, I noticed that there are two flanges with holes on the rear section of the trike. With a couple of spacers (washers) the skewer fits through these holes and voila - the skewer is attached for the BOB. It works absolutely great.
